I have the honour to inform Your Lordship

that it was considered desirable early in 1929 that the

question of playing fields in this Colony should receive

special attention, and with the concurrence of the Executive

Council the following Committee was appointed to review the

provision at present existing for playing fields in Hong

Kong and on the mainland, and to consider what provision is

required for the future, and to make recommendations to

Government in the matter:-
